The history that stays with your investment

Your next property carries a story. Keep the whole chain.

Your original equity and tax basis tell different parts of the story. Connect prior exchanges to see what was invested, what rolled forward and which records support the property you own today.

Original equity is the capital you started with. Carried-forward basis is the tax history that follows the exchange. 1031Assist helps you keep both in view.

Why this product exists

1031Assist was built from the operating burden behind real exchange investors.

1031Assist was created by Holladay Labs IP, LLC under the oversight of Joseph H. Mills, MRED and informed by his real-world experience as a commercial real estate broker, syndicator, sponsor, investor, and operator working across acquisitions, dispositions, 1031 exchanges, asset management, property operations, and investor coordination.

The problem was consistent: the most important exchange facts kept getting fragmented across spreadsheets, inboxes, CPA workpapers, closing files, and memory. 1031Assist was built to hold that record together over time without implying affiliation with any brokerage or advisory firm.

Start with the record. Grow when you are ready.

The Free plan is permanent, not a trial. Start with up to 10 properties and one active exchange, then upgrade for deeper planning, more capacity and company collaboration.
