Security and data handling
Sensitive-record software should state its posture clearly.
This page is the current public diligence surface for how 1031Assist should be evaluated before investors and professionals place exchange records, documents, and tax-support information inside it.
Sensitive-record posture
1031Assist is intended to hold sensitive exchange records such as closing statements, exchange support files, basis support, participant details, and planning outputs. The right mental model is not casual note-taking software. It is an operating record for tax-sensitive real estate activity.
Role-based discipline
Each participant should use an individual named account. Investors, brokers, CPAs, attorneys, lenders, title parties, and Qualified Intermediaries should be granted access based on the work they actually need to perform, not by sharing one login across a team.
Human review still governs
AI-assisted extraction, summaries, or document help should be treated as workflow support, not authoritative tax or legal review. Source documents remain part of the record and should be checked by humans before anyone relies on the output.

What a serious reviewer should understand today
The public site is meant to be explicit about handling posture, access expectations, and the limits of what is being claimed. The goal is not to imply maturity that has not been publicly documented. The goal is to give investors, CPAs, attorneys, and professional teams a defensible starting point for review.

What this page does claim
What this page does not claim
If your firm needs more than public marketing copy
That is reasonable. If you need a formal vendor-review conversation, procurement diligence, or institution-specific controls discussion, treat that as a direct diligence request rather than an unanswered FAQ. This public page is meant to set expectations honestly, not to substitute for a formal review process.
